We are happy to announce that The Madern Group will implement PRO.FILE as the company’s Product Data Backbone (PDM/PLM) for managing all Product Lifecycle data and related documents. The start of the project was given on the 26th of February 2020 at the company’s headquarters in Vlaardingen (Rotterdam area), The Netherlands.
After an intensive selection and visiting existing PRO.FILE using companies, the choice for PRO.FILE was made at the beginning of this year. The organization sets high standards for reuse through classification of products, version management and automatic coding of articles and CAD data. Managing 3D CAD structures and derived parts lists through a formalized and controlled workflow is also an important goal. PRO.FILE will also integrate this data with the company's ERP system.
