Boal has had a very nice and extensive implementation of 3D CAD and PLM. Boal always ran on a hybrid 2D/3D environment of AutoCAD and Inventor without a PLM system. After an extensive selection, Boal chose PRO.FILE DMS/PDM/PLM and then also migrated the AutoDesk environment to SolidWorks. In addition to standard PDM functionality for the management of the SolidWorks 3D, PRO.FILE is also used for DMStec. Boal has a roadmap to take even more steps within Smart Customization. PLM Xpert is of course also ready to realize beautiful things together.
