"Fast implementation with no hidden extra costs"
With PRO.FILE, Van Ginkel Machines has PDM/PLM and thus a Product Data Backbone where all products, documents (TPD) and parts lists are available in the correct version/revision and status. Changes can be implemented in a controlled manner. It offers a single source environment where the Dutch headquarters and the Hungarian production site can work together optimally and is the source for access to production and service. Van Ginkel is one of the most important players in the tipping trailer market.
About the introduction of PRO.FILE and its purpose
Van Ginkel has opted for a fast StarterPack implementation. And with success. In a relatively short period of time, PRO.FILE 10 was commissioned as a CAD data management solution for the management of PTC Creo data. The large production site in Hungary has also been immediately included in the rollout. The team has put a lot of effort into it. All products and extensive product families of the tipping trailers that the company has in its range have been brought under management with the PRO.FILE classification, including all Creo Parametric CAD data and parts lists. Another driver for choosing PRO.FILE was the clear and straightforward project plan. No hidden costs, but delivery on time and within budget. Naturally, this successful go-live was celebrated with the PLM Xpert Go Live cake.
