"You need PLM to properly manage exponential growth of data, which cannot be done via the conventional explorer"

Hydrauvision achieves time and quality gains with PRO.FILE PLM and PLM is also a powerful tool for traceability and servitization.

Hydrauvision develops and builds advanced drive systems. In order to properly manage the associated thousands of design files and make them easy to find, it started implementing PRO.FILE in 2020.

About the implementation of PRO.FILE and its purpose

Hydrauvision had a clear goal in mind when the selection project for a PLM system was started two years ago; booking time and quality gains for products and processes.

Hydrauvision develops complex products and the amount of data grew exponentially at Engineering alone. Adri Overbeeke, Engineering Manager at Hydrauvision: 'To properly manage exponential growth of data, you need PLM, which cannot be done via the conventional explorer'. The choice was made for PRO.FILE PLM

Although Hydrauvision was full of orders, the company used the Corona year 2020 to enter and classify components, modules and products in PRO.FILE. PRO.FILE now helps to complete orders on the basis of Configure To Order as much as possible, despite the fact that our projects involve a lot of customer-specific engineering (#ETO) due to the application of our products in specific and special situations within the Offshore, for example.
