The commissioning of PRO.FILE as product data backbone at Crux was celebrated with the well-known PLM Xpert cake

Crux is, together with KOAT, part of Kind Technologies. A group of companies that have all migrated to one CAD, one PLM and one ERP environment. The folder structures on shared drives have been replaced by PRO.FILE, providing the digital product data backbone of product data with integration with editor tools such as SolidWorks and MS Office.
The Crux PLM project team did not take any chances. After an extensive selection process and a Crux-specific PRO.FILE-SolidWorks Workshop, the final choice for PRO.FILE was made and a start was made with DMS and PDM. The PRO.FILE integration with Trimergo ERP was also an important part of the selection process.

Het product, SortiPack®, is een modulair systeem voor de verwerking van groenten en fruit. De robotica, met vision en machine learning, stelt telers in staat hun weeg-, sorteer- en verpakkingsproces te automatiseren zonder afhankelijk te zijn van menselijke arbeid. Rondom het SortiPack systeem levert Crux het complete interne transport in de schuur, denk hier bv ook aan een palletizer, kantelaars en ontstapelaars.
