An important step has been taken in the digitization process at Kuipers Food Processing Machinery in Woerden: the introduction of a Digital Product Data Backbone, PRO.FILE PLM.
Based on various substantive sessions, Kuipers' requirements and wishes were translated into a digitization solution. Stef Verhoek, Lead Engineer at Kuipers says: “The main reason was the challenges that the use of 3D-CAD based on AutoDesk Inventor entails. A proven approach to revision and version management and release was missing. We wanted to get rid of the folder structure on the network and wanted a document management system with integration with ERP.” “The regular documents and processes could also use a management solution.” PRO.FILE PLM will support Kuipers in the further growth of the organization
