06/01/2021

PLM Xpert and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences are preparing the Automotive Engineers of the future for Industry 4.0.

PLM Xpert and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences have partnered to prepare EAS students for Industry 4.0. The Institute for Engineering and Applied Science (EAS) offers education that is in line with relevant social developments. The developments within Industry 4.0 and the use of Product Lifecycle Management software are inextricably linked. PLM Xpert provides guest lectures on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) within this collaboration. PLM is positioned in these guest lectures in the light of current themes within the Automotive Training. The first guest lecture took place on Friday December 17th, 2020 and had interfaces with, among others, FMEA and the Value Chain (Porter) for 1st year students. By treating the PLM matter in the context of relevant themes from the training, the students get a good and practical picture of what PLM will entail for an Automotive Engineer of the future.
In 2021, a second guest lecture is planned for the 2nd year students. There, too, the relationship will again be established with current themes within the study program.

PLM Xpert is happy with the collaboration with Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and is proud to be able to share PLM knowledge and expertise with the engineers of the future!

Institute for Engineering en Applied Science-EAS is a relevant player when it comes to higher technology education. More than 1,900 motivated bachelor students work with an innovative and fresh perspective on technical designs and solutions.
