The PLM Xpert going live cake has been cut by Team Allied Motion!
The go-live was celebrated this morning in Dordrecht. Allied Motion Netherlands has chosen to replace the existing PDM and deploy PRO.FILE PDM/DMS on engineering and is already benefiting from the lead thanks to the integration with MS Office, Inventor and MBS Dynamics AX ERP.
Allied Motion, based in Dordrecht, had a clear picture of what a PDM/PLM should offer. Within the corporate organization, Dordrecht has charted its own course with regard to the choice of the data management system. Unlike the Vault and Bluestar systems, PRO.FILE does offer the functionality that fits into Allied Motion Dordrecht's digitization strategy.
Allied Motion Technologies Inc. is a global company that designs, manufactures and markets precision and specialty motion control components and systems used in a wide variety of industries. The Dutch branch focuses mainly on the development and production of engine types for the vehicle, medical, aerospace, electronics and industrial markets. The Dutch branch specializes in brushless BLDC outrunner motors. Approximately 100 employees work at the Dutch branch.
