PRO.FILE CAD Integrations

PRO.FILE is the multi-CAD solution and supports all major MCAD and ECAD systems.

1. Autocad integration

PRO.FILE has a complete integration with Autocad. With the help of the integration menu in Autocad, all functions of PRO.FILE can be accessed directly. Supporting functionalities include blocks, (XREF) and the matching with the right-upper-angle and the revision block with the attributes in PRO.FILE.

2. Autodesk Inventor integration

PRO.FILE has full integration with Autodesk Inventor. With the help of the integration menu in Autodesk Inventor, all functions of PRO.FILE can be accessed directly.
The components and assemblies that have been designed in Inventor can be stored in PRO.FILE by means of classification in an electronic safe. Retrieving existing parts and assemblies is made easy for the Inventor user by the smart search engine of PRO.FILE.

3. CAE / E-CAD

Where Mechanics, electrical controllers, electronics and software come together, PRO.FILE supports the harmonious synchronization of these disciplines. The result is that the efficiency and manageability of Mechatronic products and projects are increasing strongly. The integration with PRO.FILE ensures that an E-design becomes part of the project, product and is included in the release process to logistics handling (via ERP) via PRO.FILE. E-Components are automatically classified in PRO.FILE.

5. MicroStation integration

PRO.FILE has a complete integration with MicroStation. With the help of the integration menu in MicroStation, all functions of PRO.FILE can be accessed directly. Supported functionalities include the use of reference files and the link with the bottom right corner of the attributes in PRO.FILE and version and revision management.

6. NX integration

PRO.FILE has a complete integration with Unigraphics NX. All functions of PRO.FILE can be accessed directly from Unigraphics NX using the integration menu.
Unigraphics NX is one of the most successful CAD / CAE systems supported by PRO.FILE. PRO.FILE supports all references including the 'Wave-Links' and the use of parameters within Unigraphics NX. The integration generates a connection between component characteristics of PRO.FILE and parameters of Unigraphics NX, allowing parameters to be automatically adopted in PRO.FILE.

7. PTC Creo Parametric (formerly Pro/E) integration

PRO.FILE has a complete integration with PTC Creo Parametric (formerly Pro / Engineer Wildfire). With the help of the integration, all functions of PRO.FILE can be accessed directly. The PRO.FILE interface with Creo Parametric supports the references and relationships within the parametric functions of Creo Parametric and the support of Part Families and the bidirectional relationship between the Pro / E parameters and the PRO.FILE characteristics. Product structures are automatically derived from articles and parts lists.

8. Solid Edge integration

PRO.FILE has complete integration with Solid Edge. All functions of PRO.FILE can be accessed directly from Solid Edge using the integration menu or the ribbon bar. A powerful function of the Solid Edge integration is the 'Managed Copy' function. This allows the user to clone a complete machine, modify parts, and then save it as a variant in PRO.FILE. Engineers who use both Solid Edge and NX can combine and manage assemblies from both systems.

9. SolidWorks integration

PRO.FILE has a high-quality integration with SolidWorks. Using the integration menu in SolidWorks, all functions of PRO.FILE can be accessed directly.
